London APSA continued their top form after bringing the Waltham Forest Challenge Cup home after a comfortable 7-1 win over Juva Youth, to become treble champions.

Previously adding the league title and the league cup earlier on in the season APSA had their eyes set on the treble as they walked out onto the pitch watched on by almost 200 spectators at Clapton FC's Old Spotted Dog Ground.

The game kicked off with APSA taking full control of the ball and created 2 early chances which were saved by Juva's goalkeeper.

Minutes later the deadlock was broken when youngster Osman Rahman tapped in Taher Mahmood's cross to make it 1-0 APSA and get the fans roaring on their feet.

As APSA continued to get men forward with confidence Juva were outnumbered at the back and after some very fluid passing the ball fell to the feet of Striker Mahatir Mohammed who done the rest of the work and made it 2-0. After the second goal APSA showed more and more hunger to score more and they did when Tanbir Ahmed put a neat ball into the path of Mahatir Mohammed who's shot hit the post before going in and gave APSA the 3 goal lead at half time.

As the second half of the final kicked off and more and more fans were coming in, APSA believed the game was not over and wanted to get more goals while tiring the Juva players who did think the game was up.

APSA were awarded a penalty when Akram Miah was fouled in the box, and vice captain Taher Mahmood stepped up to take it and put the ball in the bottom left corner.

After 10 minutes of keeping possession and making the Juva players press hard and chase the ball, Taher Mahmood begun going on a long run which begun from APSA keeper Shafiiq Shipkoylee passing the ball into Mahmood who begun accelerating in such speed taking on several Juva players on his way to score a brilliant solo goal, running to the crowd in celebration as he made it 5-0 APSA.

Juva managed to pull a goal back after catching APSA on the break, But only minutes later did Taher Mahmood get his hat trick after great play and support from teammates; Tanbir Ahmed and Akram Miah, Taher Mahmood's shot from outside the 18 yard box left Juva's keeper with no chance.

However this was not the only well struck goal from outside the 18 yard box. Akram Miah assisted by Samirul Muhit took a powerful shot which almost teared the net, it was 7-1 to APSA and game over as Akram Miah run to manager Hafiz Ahmed in celebration after scoring what was the goal of the final.

A delightful and cheerful Hafiz Ahmed said after the game 'Well what a great season its been, unbelievable scenes here today, we are treble champions and never did we know at the start of the season this going to happen, but we always worked hard in training every week, and our intention was always to go out there and enjoy it, enjoy the football regardless but right now we can enjoy being treble champions!'.
