APSA Beat Springfeild 3-2 To Lift Ahsan Khan Cup

As February half term came to a start, London APSA boys started it off with glory ad they beat Springfeild 3-2 to lift the Councilor Ahsan Khan Cup in Leyton Jubilee Park.

Organised by Salaam Peace, APSA began tournament with wins over SP United, Springfeild FC and Springfeild United, before topping the 6 team table undefeated and qualifying for the final by finishing in the top 2.

The final against Springfeild FC started off with APSA taking the lead through Osman Rahman after he got to the end of Faez Kashem's pass to make it 1-0 APSA, but minutes later Springfeild equalized after sloppy goalkeeping from the APSA keeper. The game was coming to a close and there was only 2 minutes left on the referees clock.

However APSA managed to take the lead through a superb free kick from Taher Mahmood. it was 2-1 and down to the last minute of the game however APSA got carries away and Springfeild countered and equalized. with seconds remaining APSA were awarded another free kick, Taher Mahmood struck the ball neatly in the back of the net and that was the last kick of the game and APSA were 3-2 winners.
