London APSA End Season With Neighborhood Cup Win

After losing the East London & Essex Junior Cup Final 2-1 to Clissold, London APSA Under 13s bounced back with a 4-0 win against a strong Elite Pro Sports side in the final of the Active Newham Neighborhood cup final at the Terence McMillan Stadium.

APSA 2 weeks prior to this won the Manor Park competition at Little Ilford Park and by doing so qualified for the finals where they won 2 games and drew one in the group stage and through goal difference qualified for the semi final where they took on SM FC of Wanstead, APSA run out as 5-0 winners in the semi final, after goals came in from Radwan Karim and Osman Rahman, both getting a brace each and Taher Mahmood with a stunning free kick got his single.

In the final APSA took on a strong Elite Pro Sports side who like APSA where undefeated in the competition. As soon as the final kicked off and from the start APSA took the lead within seconds a quick succession of passes led to Taher Mahmood tapping in Radwan Karim's cross. As Elite Pro struggled to get the ball, APSA dominated and scored anoother 3 times to win comfortably 4-0.

Manager Hafiz Ahmed said after the win 'What a way to end the season, these boys no matter if they win or lose they still give 100% this season by far was our best together, we are all learning and developing and im sure there is plenty more success to come in the future'.
