It was goal difference that helped London APSA win the Orphans Cup 2015. In a wet and rainy day at Power League, Beckton.

The boys finished joint top with 16 points against Elite Academy after drawing against their opponents 1-1 in the third game.

However the decisive game came in APSA's last fixture where they had to beat Ahle Sunnah FC the same team that beat APSA in a cup final 2 months ago in the same venue.

However it was APSA who got revenge for the cup final as they went on to beat Ahle Sunnah 3-0 in the decisive game with Tanbir and Juned scoring early on and along with a powerful strike from the back from APSA centre back Mahdi was enough to take the trophy home.

ELE League Season Kicks Off With Victory

27/09/15

In a thrilling game at Wanstead Flats, London APSA kicked off the East London and Essex Junior League season with style as they won a hard fought game against Elite Pro Sports.

It was end to end stuff and after a very poor first half, APSA were 2-0 down, However when the second half started and goals were coming from Akram, Kamran and Taher it was 3-2 to APSA.

Elite Pro showed great character and was back in the game to level to make it 3-3. However Akram's pace was too much for the Elite Pro Sports players to handle and he managed to grab the winner from a left footed shot from outside the 18 yard box.

London APSA Under 13s Manager Hafiz Ahmed said after the win 'It was of one the most hectic games I saw us play today, end to end stuff, we was 2-0 down but we managed to find our feet and get back in the game. A lot of hard work and team spirit was shown, we are here only for the experience lets see where it takes us'
