APSA Picked up their first trophy of the season when they won the Salaam Peace Eid Cup on Saturday 2nd August 2014 after beating Juva Youth FC in the final 3-1, thanks to a brace from Kamran Uddin and a goal from young Faez Kashem.
The boys battled it out in a brand new Drapers Feilds 4G Astroturf in Leyton against 12 teams from their age group, The boys topped their group with 3 wins out of 3 and went on to win the quarter and semi finals in a one sided manner.
The final however was not one sided when it kicked off and Juva was 1-0 up, Within minutes Kamran equalized and added another one on the break with good combination play with him and Faez. Faez had the last laugh as it was his goal in the last minute that secured the tournament for APSA winning the close contested final 3-1.
